Together with my colleagues Martin Cothran, Christopher Perrin, Andrew Kern, and Andrew Pudewa, I am happy to tell you of a one-day event—a last, sweet respite before the academic year comes charging in! Do join us for The Art of Soulcraft wherein we will examine topics old and new in the ardent quest to recover, cherish, and pass on our classical traditions.

Classical education has long been described as the formation of a human person and thus a human soul. Accordingly, we will be tracing the tradition of classical education while paying special attention to the importance education serves to develop, nourish, and form the soul of a child. This question will be uppermost in our talks: How do we, as classical educators, parents, grandparents, family friends, and neighbors cultivate the souls of our children so they grow in their love of the true, good, and beautiful, and ultimately, the Author of all that is true, good, and beautiful?

And yes, the sessions will be recorded and available for registrants to view at a time convenient to them.

The Art of Soulcraft is sponsored jointly by Memoria Press, Circe Institute, Professor Carol, Classical Academic Press, and the Institute for Excellence in Writing. Presentations by Martin Cothran, Andrew Pudewa, Christopher Perrin, Andrew Kern, and Carol Reynolds

  2. Your Friday Performance Picks restore my soul at the end of the week, so that I enter the weekend in a serene mood and ready for worship. Thank you for this wondrous gift!
