Explore Homeschooling

Many people are just beginning to explore homeschooling—for a variety of reasons. There are different approaches, a dedicated community, and some excellent curricula. Let us help you get started.

Homeschooling wasn't in your plans?

In homes across the world, parents are grappling with suddenly having charge of their children’s formal education. These families have been forced into accidental homeschooling. Our ancestors would have laughed at our anxiety, since education for most of human history was primarily in a parent’s hand. Keep reading.

Homeschooling Music - You Can Do It.

Teaching classical music in your homeschool may be much easier than you think. You want your student to appreciate good music, not necessarily become a concert violinist. Appreciation comes primarily through exposure, and opportunities for exposure have never been greater. On this site, you will find numerous webinars (many of them free), more than 400 selected performances in our (free) Friday Performance Picks, and full courses in music history and theory that provide an in-depth understanding of classical music and great art. Homeschooling in music has never been easier.

Kids, moms, families are reading these days . . . and at levels that would flabbergast persons outside of this movement. But what about music? Keep reading.

The Language of the Fine Arts

How many people will recognize the intrinsic value of setting the Fine Arts into their core curriculum? Will people heed the ever-increasing studies that document the positive effects of exposure to the arts? Keep reading.
