Opera Boot Camp is the first step in our new course in the making: A Night at the Opera. Those of you who have joined us for introductions to the Met’s streaming productions of Cinderella and La Bohème may particularly enjoy this! If you have friends or family who think opera is not for them, invite them to join us! We’ll also talk more about how to choose operas for yourselves and your children.

We have so enjoyed watching some of The Met’s operas! My kids now really enjoy Wagner’s Ring Cycle, they’re 10 & 6 yrs old. Will this webinar be available to watch after as well?
I truly hope this will be available after. I have 2 very young grandsons and 1 young granddaughter. 9 PM will be entirely too late for them to stay up. The youngest grandson especially loves anything music – and really likes opera. My older grandson and my grand daughter would love to listen too.
Thank you so much for sharing. Though I am a total theater/musicals junkie, I know very little about opera, and thus don’t feel confident teaching my daughter about it. Hopefully, Boot Camp will give me the kick in the rump I need.
I’m so excited for this class, but it is too late for my kids to stay up and watch (or even myself). I’m hoping that there will be a replay available!
