New Webinars

Last week Carol gave three talks for the Classical’s Consortium’s online conference “Soulcraft.” More about those below.

But first, we can now announce two new upcoming webinars:

A Sprint through the Early Romantic Era. Continuing our series of “Sprints Through History,” we will take the transition from Enlightenment to Romanticism, looking at the first manifestations of this new aesthetic and the cultural forces that caused it to flourish. More information.

Getting To Know Verdi’s La Traviata. A staple of the operatic repertoire, this tragic love story features some of Verdi’s most lyrical melodies. Join us for this free webinar, which marks the twelfth in our “Night at the Opera” series. More information.

The Classical Consortium continues to provide great resources and guidance for those involved in (or inquiring into) the Classical Education movement. The group  consists of Martin Cothran (Memoria Press), Christopher Perrin (Classical Academic Press), Andrew Kern (Circe Institute), Andrew Pudewa (IEW), and Professor Carol.

Last week’s conference featured multiple panel discussions and individual presentations by the members, all of which were recorded. Carol’s talks can be found here, and links to all of the presentations will be posted here.
