Getting to Known Mozart’s The Magic Flute
Our grandkids love this famous Singspiel opera by Mozart. A Singspiel includes both singing and spoken dialogue and often features magic, fantastic creatures, and comically exaggerated characterizations of good and evil. Amazing Grace: The Great English Hymn Tradition
Another in our series of Hymn Workshops. From folk melodies collected in the 17th century, to Amazing Grace, to the Wesley brothers and compositions by Holst and Vaughan Williams, the English hymns include some of the best known and best loved in many denominations: Amazing Grace, For All the Saints, In the Bleak Midwinter, O For a Thousand Tongues To Sing, and so many more.
