A Season of Welcome

What season is it? It’s a Season of Welcome. Welcome to everyone joining us this fall: new and returning students, parents, tutors, and administrators.

Some of you are taking my class using the original version of our signature course Discovering Music. Others are traveling across the United States with the colorful program Exploring America’s Artistic Heritage.

Then we have our new and returning members of the Circle of Scholars. You are accessing our full line of courses on line, whether you are starting Discovering Music, exploring Imperial Russia, delving into Early Sacred Music, or extending your study of American history through America’s Artistic Legacy. We are delighted to share each of these journeys with you.

Globe2It’s so much fun to think about where you are. You’re spread around the globe, across the US, in Canada, Great Britain, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. We particularly want to welcome a large group of new students in Africa who are studying in Classical Academies.

It’s my honor to be your teacher. No matter where you are, I think of you daily as students and wish I could see you the way you see me on screen. Let me help any way I can. We are here to be part of your team.

It’s a joy to make the personal connections with you, whether by email, letter, or phone. Hearing about your study goals—whether you are a student, teacher, or parent—is the favorite part of my job as “Professor Carol.”

We share the same great adventure. The exploration of history through music and the Fine Arts never ends. One door after another will open, beckoning us with challenges, new ideas, and excitement. So welcome aboard!
